Library Assistant - Youth Services
Location: Main Library in Circleville, Ohio
Hours: Part-time (23 hours/week)
Pay Range: $15.00-$21.75/hour (non-exempt)
Under direct supervision, this 23-hour position provides customer service to children, teens, and their caregivers at the Main Library by engaging with them in conversation, activities, and by promoting literacy and reading. This position is also responsible for planning, presenting, and promoting quality storytimes, youth and teen programs, services, and outreach. Pay range starts at $15.00 per hour and includes paid holiday and vacation days as well as enrollment in the Ohio Public Employment Retirement System (OPERS). Must be able to travel to and work at the Main Library in Circleville and off-site locations.
