Adult Services

Answers questions and connects patrons to resources off all kinds, including books, community programs, and referrals to other organizations.


Visits county elementary schools, day care centers, and community locations all over Pickaway County. Books, videos, and music CDs for all ages are in the Outreach collection.

Community Relations

Promotes library services, programs (such as book discussions, movie showings, teen events) and special events; and works with community agencies to promote partnerships.

Home Delivery

Delivers items to patrons who are physically unable to come to the library or bookmobile and have no one to pick up materials for them. Materials are selected and checked out by Home Delivery staff and delivered directly to patrons.

Information Technology

In addition to supporting the library's IT needs, provides training to individuals in both classroom and one on one settings.

Storytime on Wheels

Presents programs at preschool and public community sites throughout the county. Programs involve story reading, with related singing, crafting and other activities.

Youth Services

Provides a variety of materials for children from infancy to middle school. There are several programs offered to preschool and school age children including storytimes, class visits, craft projects, and homework help.
