IRS Recognizes Pickaway County Library
The Internal Revenue Service recently recognized the Pickaway County District Public Library for outstanding public service for hosting Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly programs. Helen Spring, local AARP Tax-Aide coordinator, presented the award to Jim Guenther, library director. Free tax help for seniors and low-income taxpayers is available at the main library on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Appointments are available by calling 474-4119.
